Featured case study

A five-bedroom family home at Leloko Estate

The agent needed a launch set that would carry the listing on Property24 and Private Property, plus a matching Instagram carousel. The home is a modern five-bedroom on a golf-front stand with generous glass elevations onto the fairway.

Full launch set delivered inside 24 hours. The listing was screenshotted onto three separate agent Instagram feeds inside the first 48 hours; two viewings booked in the same week.

Real Estate Photography

Editorial stills that sell properties faster.

Real estate photography in South Africa lives or dies on Property24 and Private Property. A buyer with a R3.5m budget scrolls 40 listings on a Sunday afternoon — the ones that make the shortlist are the ones where the first image reads immediately. Straight verticals, even ceiling exposure, no orange lamp-light bleed into a daylight window, and a wide-enough angle to show the space without warping the couch into a fisheye. That is what we shoot for.

  • 20–35 hand-edited high-resolution images
  • Property24 / Private Property optimised web set
  • Twilight exterior on request

Real Estate Videography

Cinematic property films that get shared.

A property video is not a photo slideshow with music. It is a story cut in 60 to 90 seconds that carries the viewer from the entrance gate, through the way the house lives, out onto the view, and back to a considered close on the light. Done well, it is the single asset that gets a Cape Town Atlantic Seaboard home or a Sandton estate villa shared by every friend of the seller before the listing is even open — done poorly it looks like every other flat, aerial-only fly-through on the timeline.

  • 60–90 second master film in 4K
  • 9:16 vertical cut for Instagram & TikTok reels
  • 16:9 landscape master for YouTube & MLS

Drone Photography & Video

SACAA-compliant aerials of coast, estate and skyline.

Aerial photography changed what a property listing looks like. The plate that shows the boundary line, the driveway, the pool and the neighbouring lots in one frame does more to justify an asking price than any number of interior shots. Done in South Africa, drone work also has to respect SACAA Part 101 airspace rules, private-property consent, and the very real limits of coastal wind — which is what separates a considered aerial package from a Mavic Mini flown by the seller's nephew.

  • 8–15 aerial stills, hand-edited
  • Optional 30-second aerial reel
  • Airspace planning and site brief

Virtual Tours & 3D Walkthroughs

Matterport-style dollhouse tours that keep buyers on the listing.

A 3D virtual tour is the closest thing to a physical viewing without booking a Sunday afternoon. For higher-value stock in the Atlantic Seaboard, Constantia, Hyde Park or Sandton, it does the qualifying work that used to eat an agent's calendar — the international buyer in London or Dubai moves through the home on their laptop, decides whether the layout works, and only asks for a video call viewing when they are serious. That saves the seller three months of unqualified traffic through the house and cuts the agent's time-per-listing meaningfully.

  • Full-property 3D scan
  • Hosted tour link (12 months hosting included)
  • Embeddable iframe for the listing

Commercial Property Media

Office, retail and industrial media for landlords and brokers.

Commercial property media is not scaled-up residential — it is a separate discipline built around the leasing brochure, the yield story and the tenant experience. A landlord or a broker marketing an A-grade office in Sandton, a light-industrial warehouse in Cape Town's Airport Industria, or a retail centre in Fourways needs imagery that supports the asking rent and answers the tenant's practical questions before the site visit: what is the parking ratio, what does the reception look like tenanted, how is the loading bay laid out, and what does the walk from the parking to the front door actually feel like.

  • 40+ commercial stills
  • Loop-friendly 45s video
  • Site plan aerial

Social Media Content

A month of scroll-stopping reels, stills and stories, in one shoot day.

A social media content shoot is a production day that pays back for a month. Instead of a founder juggling their iPhone every second morning trying to make a reel between meetings, we plan a single shoot day around the brand calendar — product pushes, behind-the-scenes, founder-in-frame, quiet ambient B-roll — and deliver a month's worth of native-format content, cut and captioned, ready to schedule. That is the difference between a brand that shows up consistently on Instagram and TikTok, and one that goes quiet for three weeks and posts twice on a Sunday night.

  • 12–20 short-form videos (9:16 + 1:1)
  • 40+ hand-edited stills for grid and stories
  • Captions & hook lines per asset

Event Coverage

Launches, conferences, private dinners — same-night highlight reels.

Event coverage is a discipline of judgement more than technique. Anyone can point a camera at a keynote speaker; the harder skill is knowing when to move quietly, when to shoot from the back, when to shoot from the front, and when to leave the room entirely so the moment can happen without a lens in it. Corporate conferences, product launches, brand activations, press events and private dinners across Cape Town and Johannesburg all reward a photographer who understands the run of show and disappears when they are not needed.

  • 150–400 hand-edited event stills
  • 60-second same-night highlight reel (9:16 + 16:9)
  • 3-minute long-form recap film

Corporate Headshots & Interviews

Studio-grade portraits and camera-ready leadership interviews.

A corporate headshot is the single most-shared image of most professionals — LinkedIn, About pages, media bios, conference programmes, board decks. Getting it right means bringing a consistent studio-quality light into the client's own office rather than dragging 40 executives to a studio for one hour each. Getting the interview edit right — the piece that runs on the annual report landing page or in the investor update — means treating the executive like a person, not a talking head, and cutting for warmth as much as for clarity.

  • 1 polished master headshot per person + 3 alternates
  • Colour + black & white versions
  • LinkedIn-cropped web set

Podcast Production

Multi-camera studio-lit podcast episodes, ready to publish.

A podcast that only ships as an MP3 in 2026 is leaving audience growth on the table. The video-first podcast — three cameras, studio lighting, tight audio, and eight to twelve vertical clips built from the same shoot — is what pulls new listeners in from TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels while the long-form episode does the retention work. TimeSake Media builds those production days for founder-led podcasts, brand podcasts and interview shows across Cape Town and Johannesburg.

  • 3-camera 4K episode master (up to 90 minutes)
  • Isolated audio stems + master mixdown
  • 8–12 vertical short-form clips per episode

Weddings

Editorial wedding photography and film — Cape wine estates to Highveld gardens.

The wedding photographs and film are the only things that outlast the day. Everything else — the flowers, the food, the seating chart — is temporary; the images are what get printed, hung, sent to the parents and looked at ten years later. That is the pressure a wedding photographer works under, and it is the reason we approach every wedding as a full editorial production — two shooters, unobtrusive documentary through the ceremony and portraits, and a cinematic film cut for the couple with one short film for socials.

  • 500–800 hand-edited wedding photographs
  • 6–8 minute cinematic wedding film
  • 90-second social film + Instagram teaser
